| The John J. and Edward J. Gacek Scholarship was established by Paul J. and Daniel C. Gacek in 2001 to honor their father, John J. Gacek, and their uncle, former Professor Edward J. Gacek. The award is made annually to a full-time freshman enrolled in the College of Liberal Arts. Preference is given to students from the Connecticut towns of Berlin, New Britain, Newington and Plainville. |
